‘You’re okay na to talk to me, Jaddu?’ – After India defeated Pakistan, Sanjay Manjrekar and Ravindra Jadeja had an awkward moment.
‘You’re okay na to talk to me, Jaddu?’ – After India defeated Pakistan, Sanjay Manjrekar and Ravindra Jadeja had an awkward moment. It is well knowledge that Sanjay Manjrekar, a former Indian cricketer, has been a vocal critic of Ravindra Jadeja, an Indian all-rounder, for a considerable amount of time. When one of them, back a few years ago, questioned the role that the other played in the Indian cricket team, it was the beginning of the end of their relationship. Ravindra Jadeja responded to Sanjay Manjrekar’s criticism by making a few comments of his own. Things got tense when the two of them met recently after the match between India and Pakistan at the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai.
Recent Match and Performances
India won their opening Group A encounter of the tournament on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium by a win of five wickets against Pakistan. India needed to get 59 runs off the last six overs on a pitch with two different speeds after Pakistan had scored 147 runs and were out after 19.5 overs.
After that, Pandya (33 not out) and Jadeja (35), who were both still in the game, collaborated to score 52 runs off of just 29 balls. Then, finally, Pandya rounded off things with a six, over long-on, to lead India over the line and add another exciting chapter to the annals of India-Pakistan confrontations. This happened despite the fact that the left-handed Jadeja fell in the final over of the match.
The Encounter
Ravindra Jadeja encountered Sanjay Manjrekar during the presentation that took place after the match. Manjrekar, a former cricketer, asked Ravindra Jadeja, “You’re okay na to talk to me, Jaddu?” And Jadeja’s response was, “Ya, ya, absolutely.”
The all-response rounder’s gave the impression that things are getting along swimmingly between the two of them at the moment and that there will be no breach between them in the foreseeable future. The next match of the competition will take place on Wednesday and will feature India playing against Hong Kong.
