Xbox Game Pass loses seven games across all platforms, including a few well-known titles: Console, PC, and the Cloud.
Seven games will no longer be available to Xbox Game Pass members as Warhammer 40K Darktide arrives on PC today. Today and yesterday demonstrate that the additions to Xbox Game Pass frequently surpass the deletions.
Three have been added between now and yesterday to make up the remaining half of the seven who are leaving today. That obviously does not include the numerous Xbox Game Pass games that were made available throughout the month of November.
Despite the fact that additions are always exciting, some removal days are worse than others.
Major games have previously, sometimes repeatedly, said their goodbyes to Xbox Game Pass, but today seems fairly typical. Some popular games are leaving the service, while others are just standard fare, depending on one’s preferences.
Notably, every departure today leaves from every platform that is available: Console, PC, and the cloud. Mortal Shell, a popular Souls-like game, is one of the biggest losers, and Final Fantasy 13-2 is another sad departure.
In the past, Xbox Game Pass made a big deal out of adding Final Fantasy games, but they’ve been slowly leaving the service. Final Fantasy 13-2 and Lightning Returns were the only Final Fantasy games available on Xbox Game Pass before slowly disappearing.
Lightning Returns will be the only thing remaining after today unless it is inevitably removed today. The Xbox Game Pass Games List expires on November 30.
The remaining games are listed below:
- Archvale (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Deeeer Simulator (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Final Fantasy 13-2 (Console, Cloud)
- Mind Scanners (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Mortal Shell (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Warhammer 40K Battlesector (Console, PC, Cloud)
Naturally, Xbox Game Pass users have December to look forward to as November comes to a close. Hi Neighbor 2, Affixed Reverberations, and Extremely excited have all been affirmed for Game Pass one month from now, with a declaration coming in the following couple of days. Each month, Microsoft typically announces two waves, split between the two.
Even though new games can be added at any time, sometimes even by accident, the order in which they leave remains the same. In the middle and at the end of December, more games will be discontinued, but there will likely be more than enough games available on Xbox Game Pass to make up for them.
Every month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers gain access to a few games and lose others.
