Flair has now released an Instagram photo from the hospital with a poignant message to her friends and family. She spoke out about the psychological impact of her recent injuries, claiming it was the first time she felt truly terrified.
“Thank You for all of the lovely messages and flowers.” In every manner, I feel supported. It took me a few days and many tears to get my head around things.
I’m an expert at overthinking, yet this is the first time I’ve ever felt honestly terrified. I’m afraid of the unknown, but I’m also afraid of losing what I’m most proud of, which is being an athlete.
Going into 2024, this was a major emotional and physical blow to me. 2023 was a rollercoaster ride, and I’m trying to stay positive. Perhaps this was the only way to pause, concentrate, rebuild, and finally conquer again. “Thank you for all of your love,” Flair said.
