After Elimination Chamber, the WrestleMania 40 card began to take form as Randy Orton learned his plan for the show. In the next days, other WWE stars, including The Viper, can be added to the two-night supercard.
Orton emerged victorious from the Chamber match that decided Seth Rollins’ ‘Mania opponent. Drew McIntyre pinned him following Logan Paul’s knockout. This seems to set up a rivalry between the two for the US Championship, and it appears that this is the case.
The matchup for WrestleMania 40 is Randy Orton vs. Logan Paul, according Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Daily Update. According to reports, The Show of Shows will feature LA Knight vs. AJ Styles after The Phenomenal One’s shocking attack at Elimination Chamber: Perth.
“Those at WWE have officially confirmed the two matches that yesterday’s event seemed to set up: AJ Styles vs. LA Knight and Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton, following the Chamber show. Both are now on the Mania list,” stated Meltzer.
Whether WWE confirms these two matchups this week is still up in the air. Paul vs. Orton is a very significant bout with a lot of promise. It is conceivable that The Social Media Megastar may suddenly wish to steal the most “viral” RKO.
Logan Paul will face an intriguing opponent in Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40, but one WWE Superstar may find himself in a precarious situation.
It appeared from their recent exchanges that Kevin Owens and the US Champion still had a rivalry going on. Even though Paul lost to him at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, it was certain they would compete again. With Orton in the picture, WWE could decide to put things on hold for the time being.
