In October 2022, the BCCI reported that they were thinking about a five-group competition that would happen in Walk 2023. The new competition was casually known as the Ladies’ Indian Chief Association; be that as it may, on 25 January 2023, the BCCI formally named it the Ladies’ Head Association.
The ancestor of the Ladies’ Chief Association was the Ladies’ T20 Challenge which began as a solitary-match competition in 2018 and extended to a three-group, three-match rivalry held in 2019, 2020, and 2022. After the overall outcome of the Indian Head Association, The primary version of the Ladies’ Chief Association is set to be played from the fourth of May 2023 to the 26th of May 2023.
According to the BCCI declaration, a sum of 22 matches will be played in the competition. All the matches of the competition will be played at Brabourne Arena, Mumbai, and at DY Patil Arena, Pune. The Bartering for Ladies Head Association will be coordinated interestingly on the lines of IPL by the BCCI in the long stretch of February.

For this group closeout, BCCI shut the bid for WPL groups on 25 January 2023 and raised Rs. 4669 Crore (US $580 million). These five establishments incorporate Diageo, JSW Gathering, Adani Gathering, Capri Gathering, and Dependence Gathering.
The 5 groups of WPL are Illustrious Challengers Bangalore Ladies, Delhi Capitals Ladies, Gujarat Monsters Ladies, UP Fighters Ladies, and Mumbai Indians Ladies
