Mumbai’s cricket stadium, Brabourne Stadium, was once Mumbai Indians’ home field in the Indian Premier League. It can accommodate 50,000 spectators for sporting events. The North Stand of Brabourne Stadium served as the home of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the winner of the 1983 Cricket World Cup until 2006, when they were moved to a new Cricket Centre at Wankhede Stadium nearby.
From 1948 to 1972, the Brabourne Stadium hosted Test matches, and from 1937 to 1946, it hosted numerous Bombay Pentangular matches. Following disagreements with the CCI regarding ticketing arrangements, the Bombay Cricket Association (BCA) constructed the Wankhede Stadium a few hundred meters north of Brabourne Stadium. Even though visiting teams played a few first-class matches there, Brabourne no longer served as a Test venue after the construction of the Wankhede Stadium. In addition to cricket, the venue has also hosted tennis, football, and musical performances and concerts.

Pitch report
Because dew has an effect in limited-overs cricket, the team that wins the toss prefers to bowl first. Due to its proximity to the sea, the pitch at the Wankhede Stadium experiences a little bit more bounce during the day. As a consequence of this, it turns into a spin pitch and occasionally assists swing bowlers. This ground’s mood changes frequently due to its proximity to the sea, making it a spin pitch and allowing swing bowlers to play on it.
The dew factor comes into play late in the match, so the Brabourne Stadium’s pitch typically supports both batsmen and bowlers. The batsmen should, of course, be delighted by the short boundaries and quick outfield.
Weather report
In the months of March, April, and May, Mumbai will experience typical weather, with hot, humid days often giving way to cloudy, rainy days closer to the monsoon.
