After making significant contributions during the three-match series, players from India and Sri Lanka stand out in the most recent MRF Tyres ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings update. With a career-high rating of 664 ranking points, Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu has climbed one notch in the batting rankings to take over seventh place.
Averaging 69.50 runs per game throughout the course of the three-match T20I series against India, Athapaththu was in excellent form with the bat. In the three matches, she made contributions of 16, 43, and 80* points. Shafali Verma, the opening batsman for India, dropped two spots and is now in fifth place after scoring only 53 runs in three innings.
Radha Yadav made a strong showing in the bowling rankings with her spin, taking four wickets in three games at an average of 19.50. Her efforts led to her moving up seven spots in the rankings, reaching 13th place.

Athapaththu has moved up two spots to No. 7 on the list of all-rounders. After scoring 92 runs and taking one wicket during the series, India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur climbs five positions to tie for 23rd.
Pooja Vastrakar has climbed 16 ranks to take over the 35th spot, while Kavisha Dilhari, who scored 56 runs, has climbed 38 spaces to take over the 47th position.
