Central Hinds was put in to bat first after they lost the toss. It was just Rosemary Mair, Claudia Green, and Emma McLeod who scored in double figures. In 20 overs, Hinds could manage only 107/7.
Emma Black took four wickets in four overs, giving up just 17 runs. With 14 runs in four overs, Linsey Smith took two wickets, while Eden Carson also took a wicket.
Suzie Bates, the captain of Otago Sparks, kept up her impressive form, hitting eight fours and scoring 44 runs off 29 balls. With 3.3 overs remaining, Bella James and Felicity Leydon-Davis scored crucial hits to send their team home.

Women’s Super Smash 2023–24 Top wicket-takers and run-scorers
Suzie Bates, the captain of the Otago Sparks, moved up one rank to take the top spot on the run-scoring standings after amassing 390 runs in nine innings with three scores of fifty or more. Wellington Blaze captain Amelia Kerr dropped one spot to number two after scoring 354 runs in eight innings.
The skipper of the Auckland Hearts, Maddy Green, finished in third place with 279 runs at an average of 55.8 from six innings. Kate Anderson, Frances Mackay, and Hollie Armitage held onto their positions four, five, and six, respectively.
Hannah Rowe, Chamari Athapaththu, and Georgia Plimmer are ranked seventh, eighth, and ninth, respectively. After scoring 153 runs at a score of 17, Bella James of Otago rose from 12th to 10th place.
Amelia Kerr, the skipper of the Wellington Blaze, has taken 18 wickets in eight innings. Leigh Kasperek, her coworker, took 13 wickets in eight innings to maintain the second-best average of 13. With a 14.76 score, Emma Black rose from seventh to third place.
With ten wickets at 12.1 for Auckland Hearts, bowler Skye Bowden fell one position to take fourth place. Lea Tahuhu and Marama Downes moved up one spot apiece to take fifth and sixth place, respectively, at 15.88 and 16.33.
At 19.77, Xara Jetly moved up one position to take seventh place. At 20, Sarah Asmussen moved up one spot to take eighth place. Eden Carson’s average of 21 moved him up from 12th to 9th place.
