About Harman Preet Kaur:
Harmanpreet Kaur was born in Moga, Punjab on March 8th 1989. Previously she was known as Harmanpreet Singh Bhullar. she also played basketball and volleyball. She made her first ODI debut in the age of 20 in 2009 Women’s Cricket World cup played at Bradman Oval, Bowral against Pakistan women’s in March 2009.
The 2009 ICC Women’s World Twenty20, Harmanpreet Kaur gave her Twenty20 International debut in June 2009. For the 2012 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup final she was named as Indian Women’s Captain. Because captain Mithali Raj and vice captain Jhulan Goswami not playing due to injuries.
In March 2013, When Bangladesh women’s toured in India she was named as ODI captain of India’s Women’s. In a test match in august 2014, she played against England Women cricket team at Sir Paul Getty’s Ground, Wormsley and in that match .
In a test match against South Africa Women Cricket Team she took 9 wickets that was played at Gangothri Glades Cricket Ground. This helped to win the match by 34 runs and an innings.In Australia she helped India to win series and scored 31-ball 46 runs and this is India’s highest chase in T20 internationals.
Somehow, she received some demerit points and fined 50% of her match fee for “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision. She is the first women player which is given a Level 2 sanction after the ICC started listing code of conduct was Harmanpreet Kaur.
