Djokovic defeated Kwon Soon Woo of South Korea by scoring 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, and 6-4 in the 1st round. 3-time winner Novak Djokovic faced tough competition from Soon Woo in the second set of the match. Winner of the seven historic Wimbledon titles, Novak did not give Soon-woo a chance to bounce back in the match.
With this victory, Novak has become the first player in the world to win 80 or more matches in a total of four Grand Slams. This is another achievement for the Serbian Player.
