Williams announced that they will be parting ways with their CEO and team principal Jost Capito and technical director François-Xavier Demaison.
Capito introduced FX Demaison to the team in March 2021. After the announcement of the decision, the German expressed his gratitude for contributing to the team’s development over the past two years. He stated,

George Russell, who scored a podium finish for the team, moved to Mercedes and was replaced by Alex Albon, who had previously raced for Red Bull, during his tenure.
After Capito’s most memorable year as President, the group completed P8 in the standings (2021) with Russell and Latifi. The team, on the other hand, was let down by the 2022 campaign. They only managed to score eight points and finished last in the standings; a significant difference from AlphaTauri, who finished just ahead of them with 35 points.
Jost Capito and François-Xavier Demaison collaborated with Volkswagen Motorsport in the WRC in 2012, and Williams will announce their new team principal and technical director “in due course.” The Germans had high hopes for their performance in F1 after the team’s success. Nonetheless, things didn’t turn out that way as both will currently empty their jobs.
Williams’ Specialized Chief has likewise ventured down.
In due course, replacements will be announced.
