The BCCI invited bidders to compete for IPL Media Rights from 2023 to 2027 on March 29, 2022. The digital and television media rights to IPL 2023-27 have brought in INR 48,390 crores.
The BCCI will receive approximately INR 118 crore per match during the five years that the media rights are in place, which will see the playing of 410 matches. Disney Star paid Rs 23,575 crore (Rs 57.5 crore per game) to keep their TV rights to the Indian subcontinent, and Viacom18 won the digital rights with a bid of Rs 23,578 crore.
