The third edition of this high-octane league will take place in December after the tournament was postponed from August due to the ongoing economic and financial crisis in Sri Lanka. Jaffna Kings have won both of the league’s first two seasons, making them the most successful team in the league.
Wanindu Hasaranga is the LPL’s leading wicket-taker with 28 wickets, while Danushka Gunathalika is the highest run-scorer with 702 runs. Sri Lanka, an island nation, will host the tournament, which will begin on December 6 and run until December 23.

Three cities in Sri Lanka will host the tournament. Hambantota will host the first round, and Kandy and Colombo will host the qualifiers.
