Where are the members of India’s starting lineup from Virat Kohli’s T20I debut?: Yesterday, Virat Kohli celebrated 13 years as an Indian t20 cricket player. At the Harare Sports Club on June 12, 2010, he was awarded his first t20 cap. He was chosen by India to start the first game of their two-match series against Zimbabwe.
That series was without MS Dhoni, the regular captain. In his absence, Suresh Raina commanded the team. Virat Kohli made his T20 debut under Raina’s captaincy, however, few fans are aware of this.
In that match, India defeated Zimbabwe by six wickets with 30 balls remaining despite resting several of its key players. Here is a look at the India starting XI from the match and the current positions of the players.
Murali Vijay, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Naman Ojha, Suresh Raina, and Virat Kohli are the batters

While Rohit Sharma, playing at number four, labored for a 15 Ball 10, captain Suresh Raina performed respectable innings of 28 runs from 17 balls. India was struggling to make progress against the difficult mark of 112 runs when hard-hitting Yusuf Pathan joined newcomer Virat Kohli in the middle.
India defeated Zimbabwe by six wickets thanks to a counterattack by Pathan and Kohli that included 64 runs for the fifth wicket in just 7.2 overs.
