How much do players in PSL earn per contract?
- Platinum Agreement: Players in the Pakistan Super League who have signed contracts with the franchises or who have been selected for the platinum category can earn up to $170,000. However, according to the data, some Platinum players currently earn between $150 and $130,000.
- Diamond Agreement: Diamond contract is another contract that PSL players are interested in because of its attractiveness. According to data, players in the diamond category will receive a guaranteed salary of $130,000, and players may earn between $110,000 and $130,000 per season..
- Contract in Gold: Some PSL teams saved their money for the gold contract and signed the best player in the category, while others had the option to buy more players. Up to $60k is guaranteed for a season for each player in the gold category.
For some players, the two other contracts—Silver and Emerging—are difficult. In these two categories, the majority of local players were chosen because it helps PCB find more experienced talent. However, if there are any adjustments to the salaries of PSL players for the season, details will be provided here later.
Which PSL player is paid the most?
It’s hard to pick a Platinum category cricketer because their salaries are all the same. However, if we look at the data for Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Emerging, we find that players selected in the Platinum category have contracts worth $170k or more, whereas the second-best-paid players in the gold category have contracts worth $130k or more.
As international players, Rashid Khan, David Wiese, Rilee Rossouw, Jason Roy, and Sherfane Rutherford currently hold the most expensive contracts. The only time they will receive contract money is if they agree to participate in the PSL season.
