Sunil Chhetri comes back to national squad
Chhetri, 37, last played for India in October. In the last match he played, they defeated Nepal 3-0 in the SAFF Championships final. But he was sidelined owing to some injuries.
The team was chosen during a prolonged training camp in Kolkata, as stated by head coach Igor Stimac.
Aside from Chhetri, Ishan Pandita has returned to the front line in place of VP Suhair and the injured Rahim Ali.
Glan Martins, Ritwik Das, Udanta Singh, Sahal Abdul Samad, Suresh Wangjam, and Aashique Kuriniyan have been included in the midfield, while Pronay Halder and Danish Bhat have been left out.
