The interim captain of Team India for the previous two ODIs, Hardik Pandya’s, has asked West Indies Cricket to improve the facilities available to visiting teams in the future. The versatile player bemoaned the absence of “basic arrangements” on the current tour.
Prior to the first ODI in Barbados, it was reported that Indian players had complained about their travel plans. Some team members reportedly wrote the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), asking it to avoid scheduling any further late-night flights due to delays, according to a story in the Indian Express.
Pandya acknowledged that the tourists are not happy with the accommodations following India’s 200-run victory in the third ODI on Tuesday at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.
“This was one of the best playing fields we’ve ever been on. When we return to the West Indies later, things could be better. Ranging from moving to handling several tasks. Some difficulties occurred likewise the previous year. The 29-year-old added at the post-game presentation ceremony that he believed it was time for West Indies Cricket to take notice of it and ensure that whenever a team travels.”

The Men in Blue won every game in Trinidad to take the three-match series 2-1.

India entered the finale under significant duress after dropping the second ODI in Barbados. They nevertheless devised a methodical plan to prevent humiliation. Pandya said that he enjoys difficult circumstances and applauded the squad for doing well under duress.

India scored 351/5 while batting first after winning the toss and then bowled out the West Indies for 151 in 35.3 overs.
