On December 2, 2018, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (ANI): With the exception of a few hiccups here and there, Rinku’s U Mumba team has been playing well this season as they battle for a berth in the Pro Kabaddi League’s knockout rounds.
“Up until this point in the competition, our defensive unit has played well, and we hope that trend can continue. Our performance improves when our defense and raiders execute well, said to captain Rinku Kumar.
The captain commented on the comradery and chemistry between himself and teammate Mohit, saying, “Mohit has been playing well for us and that has helped the whole team also combine well in a manner. We try to avoid making any small mistakes during every training session to avoid having our performance suffer.
If U Mumba wants to play in front of their home crowd during the playoffs this year, wins and points are essential. Coach Anil Chaprana stated, “We need the points, and defeats will only increase the pressure. We will play our best, win every game we still have left, and then see how things turn out. Although the UP Yoddhas are a strong team, we will simply plan and play to win.
The UP Yoddhas have recently appeared frequently in the Pro Kabaddi League playoff rounds, and they are about to do so once more. Pardeep Narwal, the team’s star raider, will want to rack up more points against a U Mumba team that still has work to do if they want to play in front of their home crowd in the upcoming playoffs.
The Gujarat Giants will thereafter be looking to ruin the Patna Pirates’ party after a convincing victory against the Puneri Paltan, thanks in large part to the excellent Parteek Dahiya. It won’t be simple, though, as the Patna Pirates still have a shot of making the playoffs. The Bengal Warriors take on the Haryana Steelers, and both teams are in desperate need of a victory.
The Bengal Warriors will have their work cut out for them if Manjeet and Meetu get going, but Maninder Singh and Shrikant Jadhav aren’t strangers to stealing the show from their rivals, in this case, the Haryana Steelers. (ANI)
