After defeating three-time champions Australia 3-1 in Sunday’s third-place match at Bhubaneswar, the two-time champions Netherlands secured the bronze medal at the ongoing FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup.
The Netherlands finished their World Cup campaign in third place as a result of this, while Australia finished in fourth place. Both teams made an unsuccessful attempt to score during the first quarter.
