When Healy tried to separate her two Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies, she got a cut on her right index finger, causing injury and surgery.
“It’s not the news I was expecting because I love playing in the WBBL and I love the Sydney Sixers,” Healy said. “My focus now will be on making a full recovery and returning to play when the time is right.
“I will continue to spend time with the Sixers team and offer every assistance I can to help the team and club progress for the remainder of the competition. I will enjoy watching the WBBL from afar as the tournament continues. Strengths Move from strength to strength,” She added.
The Sydney Sixers are currently in seventh place in the points table without winning a single match even after three matches.
