Virat Kohli Equals Rohit’s Record  in T20 Format: Asia Cup 2022 is currently underway, India has already played their league matches. In both matches, Virat Kohli scored runs. In the first match against Pakistan, the Indian Superstar scored 35 runs giving India a steady start. In the second match against Hong Kong Kohli scored 59* runs. 

After scoring a half-century on Wednesday against Hong Kong, Virat Kohli equaled Rohit’s unique record. In Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Stadium on 31 August 2021. Rohit and Virat are only batsmen to achieve the feat

No other batsman has scored fifty-plus scores more than 30 times. Top batsmen Babar Azam, David Warner, Paul Stirling, and Martin Guptil are others with more than 20 such scores. Indian Top order clearly dominates the records in T20. 

Virat Kohli has scored 31 fifty-plus scores but is yet to make a century while others have at least a century. However, Kohli is not the only Indian batsman to achieve this feat, Skipper Rohit has crossed this as well. This means Virat Equals record with skipper Rohit. Rohit has crossed 3500 runs in T20 Format becoming the first player after Suzie Bates to do so. 

Kohli scored 59 runs on Wednesday in the Asia Cup to equal this record. Though, during the match, Suryakumar Yadav was the highlight. He scored 68* from 26 balls helping India with a large total of 193/2 runs.
