Lahore is now leading the Pakistan Women‘s T20 2024 points table after defeating Rawalpindi by 41 runs for the second time in a row on Tuesday.
They now have four points in their name.
Meanwhile, in the sixth match of the National Women’s T20 Tournament 2024, Karachi defeated Peshawar by 101 runs.
Following a great win, Karachi has moved up to second place with two points. Rawalpindi is in third position, having won one of their two games and accumulated two points.
Quetta, however, couldn’t maintain their winning streak and fell to Multan by 21 runs.
They are now in fourth place after winning one of their last two games.
Multan, on the other side, secured their first victory and is presently in fifth position.
Peshawar is at the bottom of the points table, having lost every game so far in the season.

Pakistan Women’s T20 2024 – Multan off the blocks, Lahore wins their second game in a row
On Tuesday, January 16, the Lahore women’s team extended their winning streak with their second consecutive victory.
Lahore scored a whopping 160 in the first innings, thanks to Sidra Amin’s amazing performance of 85 from 93.
In response, Rawalpindi could only score 119 runs. Quetta women faced Multan women in the fourth match, with both teams searching for their first win of the season.
Gull Feroza scored 75 runs to help Quetta reach 129 in the first innings.
In response, Quetta were bowled out for 108 runs, falling 21 runs short of their goal.
Quetta’s leading scorer, Dua Majid, scored 42 runs.
However, none of the other hitters produced any significant contributions with the bat.
The fifth match in the tournament pitted Peshawar against Karachi.
Peshawar won the toss and invited Karachi to bat first, but their performance was dismal once again.
The decision backfired on them, as Karachi scored 183 runs in the first innings.
Muneeba Ali (64) and Javeria Khan (51) formed a 93-run partnership. Yusra Amir came in at three and continued the momentum with another crucial hit of 39 runs in 38 deliveries.
In response, Peshawar could only score 82 runs in 20 overs.
