TWG2022: AIRSPORTS COMPETITIONS START TODAY! At long last, the year 2022 has arrived, and with it comes the beginning of the World Games! At the Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama, in the United States, on July 7, a magnificent opening ceremony was conducted.
The event, which featured live performances of music and dance in addition to exhibitions, drew spectators who were fans of a wide variety of sports. The athletes marched in while clutching the flags of their own countries, and the spectators welcomed them with enthusiasm as they arrived on the scene.
The first day of competition for the several air sports that will be featured at The World Games will begin on Saturday, July 9, 2022. These air sports will be among those featured at The World Games. In the year 2022, these aerial sports will be featured. At 8:15 local time, the canopy piloting competition will get underway at the Barber Motor Sports Park, and at 13:30 local time, the drone racing competition will get underway at the Protective Stadium. Both of these gatherings will be held in the United States of America. Members of the FAI Commissions CIAM and ISC have made the trip to Birmingham in order to provide psychological assistance and motivation to the athletes who are competing there.

World games
The World Games 2022 website and the Olympic Channel will both serve as official places for streaming; however, the planning committee has not yet decided whether or not to include any air sports on the streaming schedule. When the results have been verified, the new information will be reflected on both the TWG website and the FAI microsite, which will be updated.
