Two of Europe’s most prolific strikers are battling for the top spot on the UEFA Champions League scoring charts. Following the group phase, Ajax forward Sebastien Haller leads the scoring charts with 10 goals following his penalty kick for the first time during his team’s final group game. The 10 goals stand out for Haller who was the only player to be of the Champions League history to score in all six games. Haller has already reached the score of the top scorer of last season Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. The two clubs Ajax as well as Bayern Munich are also guaranteed to play at the smallest two more times during the round of 16.

The curtain is closing over the Champions’ League group stages this week, we review the standings of the top scorers of the tournament. In the last season, Erling Haaland was the top scorer, scoring 10 goals. That total is already being surpassed this season.
Ajax has begun the Champions League campaign with six wins in six. Striker Sebastien Haller has been the main player in Ajax’s success. He is the most prolific in the competition, scoring 10 goals.
