ICC organized the 12th edition of the ICC women’s World Cup. Which is going on in New Zealand since 4 March 2022 and will conclude on 3 April 2022. The event is originally scheduled for 7 March 2021 but postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Total 8 teams are participating in the tournament ( India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, England, West- Indies, Bangladesh, and South Africa). The tournament is played in a round-robin format. And, a total of 31 matches will be played including semi-final and final. ICC announced six venues for the world cup. Which are Eden Park, Seddon Park, Bay Oval, University Oval, Basin reserve, and Hagley oval. Hagley oval will be going to host the final of the Cup.
Currently, Australia, South Africa, India, and New Zealand are in the Top 4 with 6,6,4,4 points respectively. Australia won three out of three matches giving a tough fight to every team.
