David Warner’s greatest ODI score came against Pakistan in a high-scoring encounter at the Adelaide Oval in 2017.
As Pakistan struck first blood in the 42nd over, Warner and Travis Head enjoyed a 284-run opening partnership.
Warner would have been disappointed to have missed out on a double century, but his knock was still excellent enough to set up another enormous total for the Aussies.
In response, Babar Azam scored a century, but he didn’t get much help from the other Pakistan hitters, and the goal of 370 proved too much for them, as they lost by 57 runs.
2. 178 (133) vs Afghanistan, Perth, 2015

Australia had a terrible ODI series against South Africa in 2016, failing to win a single game.

At 144/6, it appeared that Sri Lanka would lose by a large margin. Upul Tharanga and Nuwan Kulasekara’s amazing connection.
However, kept the visitors in the game. Given the circumstances, Kulasekara’s 73 off 43 balls was an incredible effort, but Sri Lanka fell 15 runs short of the objective.
