The Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Brave, Otago Volts, and Wellington Firebirds will remain the traditional six teams in Super Smash 2022/23. With four victories each, Northern Brave are the defending champions, while Auckland Aces and Wellington Firebirds are the league’s most successful teams.
On December 23, at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, Northern Knights and Canterbury will meet for the first time in the 18th season of the Men’s Super Smash T20 League. The competition’s twofold cooperative arrangement will have 32 matches, including the last. Who goes on to play in the playoffs will be decided by the top three teams. The elimination final will take place on February 9, 2023, and the Super Smash 2022-23 final will take place on February 11, 2023.
