He was considered by many to be a top prospect. Rasmus was described as a talented two-way defenseman with many tools, including skating, puck handling, vision, intelligence, and shooting. Dan Marr of the NHL Central Scouting Bureau described Rasmus as an exceptionally talented prospect who will be able to impact Rasmus’ team fortunes in a similar way to Erik Karlsson and Victor Hedman.

He is a professional American ice hockey center and alternate captain of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. Miro is a professional ice hockey defenseman from Finland and alternate captain of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League. Ranked among the top ten eligible European skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau, Miro was selected third overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Stars. Miro played hockey until the age of 14 in the youth program of Finnish club Liiga Espoo Blues. Later, Miro played in the HIFK youth program.
