#1 Netherlands:
They reached 1st ranking and currently rank at 3132.74 points. The Netherlands is the third European Country to make it into the top 10 rankings of FIH. The Netherlands is known as one of the most successful hockey teams in the world. They have a record of winning 8 times in the Champions trophy. They won 3 times the Hockey World Cup, and 2 times Summer Olympics.
#2 Belgium:
Belgium is currently ranking 2nd with 2917.87 points. Even after winning the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics, in 2020. Belgium dropped to the second position from their rivals in the Tokyo Olympic finals. Since 1995 they have managed to reach six semi-finals of the EuroHockey Nations championship. They were third in 2007, and runner-ups in 2013 and 2017 at the EuroHockey Nations championship.
#3 England:
England is known for playing almost all sports. They have national teams in all the major sports in the world and have a significant image. England has maintained their 3rd position since the beginning of the year with 2761.29 points. They were winners in the inaugural edition of the Commonwealth Games. They performed consistently in the EuroHockey Nations championship and won gold, silver, and 7times bronze. They also won bronze, silver, and gold in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.

Spain has come a long way since the launch of the field hockey team. They had competed in all world cups since their first edition. They have won the EuroHockey Nations championship twice, the Champions Trophy, and the Champions Challenge once.
