    India competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan which took place from 24th July to 9th August 2020 due to COVID-19 the pandemic situation the games were postponed. And The Event is going to take place from 25 August to 6 September 2021. India first participated at the Olympic games in 1990 where they won the silver medal and became the first Asian nation to win the Olympic Medal and since then India has been participating in every summer game.     Indian athletes have won 35 medals of all the time in the summer and recently in the men’s javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra won the first-ever gold medal in athletics since 2008 it was a huge victory all over India as the contestants always try their hard and give their best.
