The XX Shooting Championship: Guatemala
The XX Shooting Championship: Guatemala. The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is the governing body of the shooting events of the Olympics as well as Non-Olympics.
The events take place in three categories – rifle, pistol, and shotgun (clay target). The activities of ISSF include regulation of the sport, Olympic qualifications, and organization of international competitions such as the ISSF World Cup Finals, ISSF World Cup Series, etc.

Pistol
There are five different pistol events:
- 10 m Air Pistol Men
- 10 m Air Pistol Women
- 50 m Pistol Men
- 25 m Pistol Women
- 25 m Rapid Fire Pistol Men
Rifle
There are five different rifle events:
- 10 m Air Rifle Men,
- 10 m Air Rifle Women
- 50 m Rifle 3 Positions Men
- 50 m Rifle 3 Positions Women
- 50 m Rifle Prone Men.
Shotgun
There are five different shotgun events:
- Trap Men
- Trap Women
- Skeet Men
- Skeet Women
- Double Trap Men
The XX Shooting Championship – Rifle and Pistol
The XX Shooting Championship in Rifle and Pistol is set to take place in Guatemala from June 14th to 22nd.
16 countries are participating in the event namely, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Aruba, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, Barbados, Panama, and Nicaragua).
In total, they are set to make 300 starts in the tournament. 106 quotas will be allocated for the next Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador scheduled to be held the next year.
