Aakash Chopra believes India would win the second Test against South Africa unless a fourth-innings goal of 150 or more is set.
On Wednesday, January 3, India bowled out the Proteas for a mere 55 in their first innings in Cape Town.
Despite being bowled out for 153, the visitors reduced the hosts to 62/3 in their second essay on Day 1.
In a video posted to his YouTube account, Chopra predicted that the match would be decided on Day 2 and named India as the favorite to win.
We’ve taken three wickets yet again. We remain far ahead of the competition. On the second day, the match will be over.
Why do you continue to hold five-day Test matches? The first match lasted three days, while the second will last two.
I hope it doesn’t happen, but India’s only chance of losing is if South Africa has a 150-run lead. Aside from that, I believe we are in control.
So, when this match concludes, the series will be level at 1-1, and we will have recorded our first-ever win in a Cape Town Test.
South Africa is still 36 runs behind India and has seven second-innings wickets in hand.
On a tough Cape Town surface, they will attempt to erase the gap and set India a challenging fourth-innings objective.

Aakash Chopra praises Mohammed Siraj’s spell as the greatest of Miyan Magic
Aakash Chopra credited Indian bowling, particularly Mohammed Siraj’s 6/15 in South Africa’s first innings, for providing the visitors an advantage.
The Indian bowlers, particularly Mohammed Siraj, deserve recognition for the way they bowled.
This is what makes Siraj so unique. Miyan Magic at its best is truly magical.
When the Hyderabad seamer is on his game, the renowned pundit says, he runs through the opposition. He elaborated:
When he bowled against Sri Lanka, he took six wickets, and he took six wickets here. If you look at his motion, he falls slightly to the left and it appears like the ball will come in, but it pitches and goes away.
The ball also molds itself somewhat in the air. So he started taking up wickets there.
Chopra also lauded India’s slip fielders, particularly Yashasvi Jaiswal, for making several spectacular catches.
He also called the decision to replace Shardul Thakur with Mukesh Kumar an aggressive move.
