The Men’s Hundred: Schedule, Squad, Prospects to win
The Men’s Hundred: Defending champions Southern Brave and Welsh Fire will meet in the league opener on 3 August 2022.
Eight men’s teams are set to compete in The Hundred. It is a unique 100-ball franchise cricket competition. The game debuted in July 2021. The inaugural season witnessed Southern Braves men winning the coveted cup.
Each squad consists of 15 players. A maximum of three players from abroad is permitted. Each innings has 100 balls. One bowler can throw either five or ten consecutive balls in an over. After every 10 deliveries, the bowling ends have to switch.

Prospects: Superchargers were a tough contender last year. They slammed 200 against Manchester Originals. Wahab Riaz, David Willey, and Bravo are strong foils. Matt Potts will miss a large chunk due to England Test commitments.

Prospects: Mohammad Hasnain, Jack Leaning, Matt Milnes, and captain Sam Billings come together. With these stars, Invincibles appear strong to push for the title.

Prospects: They have wicket-taking bowlers. A raft of all-rounders, top-order runs, and intimate knowledge of Trent Bridge is in the team.
