We haven’t played a whole game yet – Afghanistan skipper Ibrahim Zadran after losing the second T20I against India
Afghan captain Ibrahim Zadran stated during the post-match presentation that they have not been able to execute consistently in all areas of the match so far in the series.
In response to the defeat, Zadran stated, “As you can see, we play well in the powerplay, we play well in the middle overs, and sometimes at the end, we haven’t brought up a full game yet.”
We shouldn’t make so many mistakes all the time, and we need to work on this before the T20 World Cup to have a successful campaign.
About Gulbadin Naib’s innings, we put our belief in the team’s most senior member and assured him he could accomplish it.
He’s proved that, and when he got to the crease, I encouraged him to keep the momentum going till the end, which he did.
