The French Football Federation (FFF) has condemned racist messages directed at Eduardo Camavinga. Following a training ground incident that left teammate Christopher Nkunku out of the World Cup with injury.
France confirmed on Tuesday that Nkunku will be ruled. Out of the tournament in Qatar after injuring his leg in training, with Eintracht Frankfurt. Forward Randall Colo Muani called up to replace him. A video circulating on social media shows Nkunku injured after being tackled by Real Madrid midfielder Camavinga.

“Eduardo Camavinga was the victim of racist messages on social media. Following Christopher Nkunku’s injury,” the French Football Federation said on Twitter on Thursday. “The FFF condemns these attacks in the strongest possible terms and fully supports Eduardo.”

According to L’Equipe, Nkunku is out for up to two months after picking up a knee injury after colliding with Kamawingu in the final training session before leaving for Qatar. After the incident, Nkunku responded to Kamawinga’s racist abuse online.

However, After Nkunku was injured, France called Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randall Kolo Muani, 23, who sent the RB Leipzig forward a message wishing him a speedy recovery.
