The first female athlete to have a Rae Bareli stadium named after her was Indian hockey star Rani Rampal.
The MCF Rae Bareli has given the hockey stadium the new name “Rani’s Girls Hockey Turf.” On her virtual entertainment accounts, Rani posted pictures of herself presenting the arena and interacting with the players.
Rani made the following post to her Twitter account: ” Words don’t seem to be enough to express my joy and gratitude as I tell you that the MCF Raebareli has renamed the hockey arena “Rani’s Young ladies Hockey Turf” in honor of my dedication to the sport.
“It is a proud and emotional moment for me as I become the first woman hockey player to have a stadium to my name,” she went on to say. She continued to express her gratitude. I pledge this to the Indian women’s hockey team in the hope that it will eventually attract more female hockey players!
Rani got back in the game when he drove 22 people through South Africa on the most recent Indian team tour.
After earning her 250th India cap against Belgium in the FIH Women’s Hockey Virtuoso Affiliation 2021-22, Rani was making her return to the team.
