The 2023 Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Schedule has been confirmed. The ICC has released the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in South Africa next year. After the qualifier games, Bangladesh and Ireland will fill the last two spots in the 10-team tournament.
On February 10, 2023, South Africa will play Sri Lanka in the first game of the eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The games in the tournament will take place in Cape Town, Paarl, and Gqeberha. The knockout rounds will take place in Cape Town.
The final will be on February 26, 2023, and there will be a backup day on February 27 in case there are any major problems with the set dates.
Groups
Australia has won the Women’s T20 World Cup five times and is the defending champion. They, along with New Zealand, and the host country, South Africa, are in Group 1 for the 2023 tournament.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are also going to be a part of this group. Bangladesh recently won the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022 by beating Ireland. Group 2 is made up of England, India, the West Indies, and Pakistan.

Group 2: England, India, West Indies, Pakistan, Ireland
Each team will play each of the other four teams in its group once. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams in each group move on to the semi-finals.
