The 16th edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023-24 season is going to be organized once again in India. This is a round-robin format tournament. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023-24 season tournament is going to start from 16 October 2023 and this tournament will end on 6 November 2023. A total of 38 teams will participate in the season which will be divided into 5 groups. All 38 teams will play a total of 136 matches against each other. The “Board of Control for Cricket in India” (BCCI) declared in April 2023 that the contest will form part of the 2023–24 Indian domestic cricket season. The season will feature 38 teams divided into 5 groups, with each team playing a total of 136 matches against each other.
