The Men’s Super Smash is a domestic competition for men’s Twenty20 cricket in New Zealand. For sponsorship purposes, it will be known as the Dream11 Super Smash until 2026. Since the 2018-19 season, the opposition has been held all the while with Ladies’ Really Crush. One of the most established Twenty20 leagues in the world, Super Smash is now in its 18th year.
The usual six teams will compete in the tournament: Otago is known as the Volts, Canterbury is known as the Kings, Auckland is known as the Aces, and Wellington is known as the Firebirds. The Central Districts are known as the Central Stags. Until February 6, they will participate in a double round-robin league in which each team will play every other team twice.
The Elimination Final will be held on February 9 between the teams ranked second and third. On February 11, the winner of this match will face the league champion in the final. The title has been won by Auckland and Wellington four times each; Central Districts and Northern Districts, defending champions who have each won three times; twice in Otago; moreover, once in Canterbury.
