Jayasuriya has become the highest wicket-taker of Sri Lankan bowlers in the debut Test. Prabhat broke Praveen Jayavikrama’s record. Jayavikrama took 11 wickets in his maiden Test match against Bangladesh in 2020-21. The world record, in this case, is in the name of Narendra Hirwani and Bob Massey. Both of them took 16-16 wickets in their respective debut match.
