The three-match ODI series will take place from January 6 to 11, while the three-match T20I series will take place from January 14 to 18.
Sri Lanka has announced their preliminary teams for the Zimbabwe series on Saturday, December 30, 2023, with batsman Kusal Mendis heading the ODI side and all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga guiding the T20I side.
Charith Asalanka, a batsman, has been named vice-captain for both forms and the provisional squads for the Zimbabwe Tour of Sri Lanka 2024 have been declared by Sri Lanka Cricket.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has named all-rounder bowler Wanindu Hasaranga as T20I captain for the home series over Zimbabwe. Kusal Mendis, the wicket-keeper batter, will take over the ODI captaincy.
The decision by the selectors ended Dasun Shanaka’s two-year tenure as Sri Lanka’s white-ball captain.
The provisional squads for the forthcoming ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe at home have been announced by the selection panel led by Upul Tharanga.
The final squads will be released in due time and the players will be chosen from the preliminary team.
