Jude Bellingham, a star player for Borussia Dortmund, has reportedly said no to a summer move to Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).The England international has been the subject of long-term interest from Chelsea and PSG, who are said to be looking to strengthen their midfield this summer.
However, according to the German publication BILD, Bellingham does not consider either club to be a viable option. It has been asserted that Bellingham does not wish to join a team that is owned by billionaires or the Sheikhs, excluding Chelsea, PSG, and Manchester City.
Naturally, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, owns the Parisians through closed shareholders Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). The Blues, then again, were procured by American extremely rich person Todd Boehly and a consortium of financial backers last year for an incredible £4.25 billion.
Real Madrid is said to have decided to go all in for the England midfielder after the three teams were ruled out. BILD says that Los Blancos have set a €100 million starting salary and a €50 million add-ons cap for the 19-year-old midfielder. They are said to be willing to pay Bellingham up to €20 million per season in wages.
PSG is preparing to acquire Hakim Ziyech, a star player for Chelsea:
Hakim Ziyech was close to leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer, according to sources, due to a lack of game time. The player was widely expected to leave Les Parisiens, but the deal never materialized. West London, where the Moroccan’s situation has not improved, has rekindled speculation about a summer departure.
Football Insider says that PSG want to try again for Ziyech this summer because he has been one of their long-term targets. After the move fell through in January, it has been claimed that they have kept in touch with the player’s entourage. Ziyech is a perfect fit for the Ligue 1 giants, who are looking to sign top players at a bargain price this summer.
Since he does not appear to be part of their plans, Chelsea could also let the player go. This season, the former Ajax player has only started six of their 13 Premier League games. This season, he has yet to score in the English Premier League.
In the summer of 2020, Ziyech made the move to Chelsea from Ajax. Since then, he has played 102 games for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring 14 times and assisting 11 times. June 2025 marks the end of his contract.
