Profile:
Fontecchio is a small forward with a developing all over game. He usually played as a Shooting guard but now plays as a Small Forward.
His jump shot is inconsistent, but he is a threat near the paint. He lacks upper body strength, but is fairly athletic. He needs to use his athleticism more on defense and work on rebounding more while always giving plenty of effort.
As of 2015, he’s a promising player. He has a great work ethic and the physical attributes to succeed, and at that point it seemed like he might need some more work. But now it’s 2022, so this may not be what’s happening anymore.
Personal:
Marco Fontecchio was born in Pescara. He is influenced by his enthusiasm for sporting pursuits, and comes from a family of athletes. His mother won two European titles whilst playing basketball for AS Vicenza, one Italian title and another while living in Milan with Pallacanestro Cantù.
