Shikhar Dhawan is a famous Indian cricketer, he is currently playing for Delhi in first-class cricket. He is a left-handed opening batsman and he also captains the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. In the 2013 Champions Trophy and 2017 Champions Trophy, he was the leading run-scorer and won the ‘Golden Bat’ award in both tournaments.
He also became the leading run scorer for India in the 2015 Cricket World Cup and after this, he also became the first player in the history of IPL to score two consecutive centuries. He started his career by first playing for Delhi Under-16s in the 1999/00 Vijay Merchant Trophy.
