These players including Shane Warne are in top of list
Sri Lankan great spinner Muttiah Muralitharan was named the world record for taking the most 800 wickets in Test cricket.
Shane Warne himself is present at number two, who has taken 709 Test wickets.
After this comes the third number one fast bowler. England’s legendary fast bowler James Anderson with 640 Test wickets.
At number four, Indian player Anil Kumble has 619 wickets in his name.
Shane Warne favorite players has to do so much effort to achieve this record
Ravichandran Ashwin bowled again in the Mumbai Test and India’s victory is almost certain.
He left behind leg-spinner Anil Kumble and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
In the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2021, Ashwin has done this four times. He has taken more than 50 wickets.
In fact, Ashwin has become the bowler to take 50 or more Test wickets for India in different calendar years.
Shane Warne while talking to Hindustan Times said,
‘I hope Ravichandran Ashwin and Nathan Lyon will break mine and Muralitharan’s record, because the more we see quality spin bowling, the more cricket will be interesting. I think when you see a fast bowler bowling stormy and the batsman tries to dominate him.
Shane Warne said,
‘Then you see the battle between a great spinner and a batsman, then these are very interesting moments. So if we get to see these moments, I hope Ashwin and Nathan can take 1000 Test wickets.
