Seven Men’s Soccer Players Added To UVM Roster
Seven Men’s Soccer Players Added To UVM Roster: UVM Soccer Head Coach Tim Dow’s announced the additions the next year. These players will join UVM before 2022. The current America East Champions will have seven student-athletes and two transferring student-athletes on board, in addition to five new freshmen.
The newly recruited players for the Catamount Club show a mix of talent and leadership, according to Adrian Dubois, the club’s recruiting coordinator. “We’re going to be challenged each day by these new players”, said Dow. That’s also why they are eager to have them on the team. “Welcome to your new home,” is what he told these 7 Bears freshmen as they signed their paperwork on Wednesday night.

Larson Country Club golfer Jared Nelson took part in the second day of stroke play qualifying on Tuesday at the 2022 U.S. Amateur golf tournament.
On Tuesday, Nelson shaved five strokes off his qualifying score. He finished the day at even par after a day of birdies. He had three birdies for the tournament, giving him a 4-over in qualified field for match play that runs through the weekend.
Long story, Nelson has had stellar success this summer. He won the Vermont and New England Amateurs, plus a win in the Hornblower Memorial Golf Tournament in Massachusetts and the Pierce Invitational with clubmate Drake Hull at RCC.
