Seattle Seahawks S Quandre Diggs Is Officially In The NFL’s Top 100 Players List: With continued success on the Seattle Seahawks, Diggs continues to rise in the NFL top 100 players list.
The Seattle Seahawks have a defense secure for the foreseeable future as they rebuild in the post-Russell Wilson era.
The Seahawks safeties are one of the better tandems with Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs. Since Diggs joined in a trade with the Detroit Lions, he has helped give the Seahawks a new identity. In 16 games last season for the Seahawks, Diggs racked up 94 total tackles combined, 66 of which were solo. He also flashed his ability to ballhawk away for five interceptions in that span.
The reason he’s been able to do this is because of his successful 2021 season, which saw him move up five spots from 77 overall last season.
This player came in at No. 82 in the overall rankings for 2022, but he has taken his game to a new level since being traded mid-season from Detroit. Diggs has been on the field more than ever in his career, playing 80% of the Seahawks’ defensive snaps during Week 12.
In two seasons with the Seahawks, Diggs was a Pro Bowler and has meshed seamlessly with fellow trade acquisition Jamal Adams. Diggs will look to fully bounce back from injury in the upcoming season after suffering a dislocated ankle and broken fibula in December 2018.
The Seahawks may have a tough time this season as they rebuild and retool. However, with Diggs patrolling the secondary, Seattle can have confidence in the fact that they have two premier safeties for the foreseeable future.
Seahawks S Quandre Diggs has cracked the NFL’s top 100 players list, and it’s not hard to see why. The 25-year-old standout continues to make an impact on both sides of the ball for Seattle, with his versatile skill set proving difficult for opposing offenses to contain. Not only is he one of the best defenders in the league, but he also provides a spark off the bench that can help turn any game around. With another great season in store for him and the Seahawks, Diggs looks destined to cement himself as one of the greatest players in NFL history.
