Newlands Cricket Ground (known as Six Gun Grill Newlands for sponsorship purposes) is a South African cricket ground in Cape Town. The Cape Cobras play there in the Sunfoil Series, 1 Day Cup, and RamSlam Pro20 events. It has also held Test matches, ODIs, and T20 Internationals. With Devil’s Peak and Table Mountain as backdrops, Newlands is widely recognised as one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the world. It is close to Newlands Stadium, which serves as a rugby union and football stadium.
The cricket pitch was constructed in 1888. The Western Province Cricket Association, the proprietors of Newlands Cricket Stadium, stated in March 2019 that they have entered into a collaboration with Sanlam to create a new office complex on a portion of the cricket ground.
