Role of Young lads of Buccaneers in 2022 : Buccaneers have released many players and added many into their squad this season. They have many players on their team that are young and do not have much experience. But their ability to handle pressure situations is something to applaud. However, the fans were devastated when Tom Brady took retirement in February. He has 7 super Bowl rings, and 3 MVP awards, his decision has affected the team and league. Now young lads have to take responsibility for things.
Mike Edwards
Buccaneers let Jordan, a Whitehead, leave through free agency, so they traded Mike Edwards to the team. Mike Edwards was bought into the team to strengthen the squad with his full-time role. In 2019, he was drafted and since then he has been rotated as rotational safety and corner.
During his time in the squad, Edwards has been posted to five interceptions, a total of 102 combined tackles, two defensive touchdowns, one forced fumble, and 18 passes defended. He is a highly versatile player who can do a lot. He is one of the best young players on the team right now.
Jaelon Darden
Another young lad, the club’s return specialist from last season. His ability to handle pressure situations is good, in his rookie year he scored six catches in 43 yards. He also had 3 offensive snaps even after getting injured in the last season. He scored many praises in the last season of the NFL. The club will continue to use him as a return specialist with his amazing abilities.
Joe Tryon Soyinka
Joe Tryon has been put into the tone-setters for defense after the club decided not to sign Jason. The club has decided to release Jason Pierre-Paul and not sign him anymore. This situation has put Joe in a different position this year. Joe Tryon was selected as a draft in the 2021 NFL window, he has a task this season. He is one of the best and multi-faceted players that every team would want.
