Rishabh Pant Biography – Indian Team Cricketer. Rishabh Pant is a young, rising cricketer who serves the role of the wicket-keeper batter in the Indian team. He is a left-handed batsman and plays in the middle order of the team in the batting squad. He is the skipper of the Delhi Daredevils team since IPL 2021 and also was the vice-captain of the Under-19 Indian team in the 2016 World Cup.
Rishabh Pant Career
Pant took coaching under Tarak Sinha from a cricket academy in Delhi. He was inspired by the gameplay of Adam Gilchrist and made him his role model. At the age of 18 years, Rishabh Pant played for Delhi and made his debut in the world of cricket. In his second innings, he scored an amazing half-century. Pant displayed such performances in many matches under the guidance of his coach.
In 2016, Rishabh’s vice-captaincy and brilliant play in the Under-19 World Cup gained the attention of IPL franchise holders. Hence, he was a part of the Delhi team in IPL with a worth of 1.9 cr. In his first match against Gujarat Lions, Pant played a fantastic innings of 69 runs partnering with Quinton de Kock.
Pant’s IPL career unveiled his utmost talent and dedication. He has been playing for the Delhi Capitals (previously Delhi Daredevils) since 2016 and was also the team’s captain in the last squad. Besides IPL, Rishabh has also proved himself in international cricket. After playing his debut ODI in October 2018 against West Indies, there was no looking back.
Till now, Pant has scored four centuries and nine half-centuries in test cricket. He has also hit five and three half-centuries in ODI and T20 matches, respectively. His maximum score is 159 in test cricket and 85 in ODI.

Pant’s place of birth is Roorkee in Uttarakhand, and his birthday is 4 October 1997. He was interested in cricket as a child and received support from both parents. Rishabh completed his schooling in Dehradun and B.Com from Delhi University.
